Evite: Party Invitations App Reviews

This app has potential but right now is quite buggy. Sometimes you can comment, other times the keyboard doesnt pop up. Sometimes you open the app and cannot create events or invite others and other times you can. Frustrating! Sort out the bugs and you will have something good.

Like the app but the latest version closes down every time I hit edit the event details AND it added an hour to the event time in the event listing view (5:30EST is entered in the event and appears correctly in the mobile view ....but it appears as 6:30 in the app view in both listing and event detail view...) Id submit bug for both but there was no where to do so on your support link....sorry to leave this on reviews.

This would be such a great app but as soon as I try to edit, it crashes. Also, no option to send a message. I end up having to go to my computer anyway so its pointless aside from being able to view RSVPs. Disappointing.

Crashes every time I try adding additional guests to an existing evite.

Its pretty useless as you can just view your invitation and can not add guests ! Whats the point of using this app if you have to use the desktop version to add your guests!!!

Will not save drafts, crashes as soon as I try to invite guests.

I can believe the comments I am seeing here. I dont agree with most of them. Using the app as a most I cannot see my guest list when it is set at view only by the host, I cannot edit or add people. I believe you should be able to do these rings and most of the functions that are available by desktop or laptop for the evite app

The times on the app version for all my events are wrong. The website version is correct but the app is off by 1 to 8 hours. Disappointed kids when they missed birthday parties thanks to this. Please fix!!!

I like the idea of this app but there are several things that are extremely annoying. Firstly anytime I make an event the app changes the time on me. I have to send out a correction. Also it changes words (ie. my daughters name... Twice!) and adds characters on the invite. Lastly, there should be the option to edit the number of guests.

Great on start up, but it crashed repeatedly on my iPhone and iPad and I was unable to edit, update and send. Plus I indicated 1pm start time for event on my iPad, but the iPhone showed a 2pm start. So I guess Ill use something else that works properly with todays technology.

Had two parties today and both had the wrong time on the app!!!! Completely unacceptable! I see these issues have been ongoing for years and not fixed!!

Im bit happy with this app at all! Its made event planing twice as hard! Most guests dont receive their invites. Hard to update! Impossible to comment back! Not enough options! No RSVP option... And many more! Good idea for an app needs to be corrected and updated!

I used this app once about a year ago and it was awesome. Went to use it now and it just opens and then closes. I updated my iPhone and tried restarting, even reinstalling the app and nothing works!

Every time I click on invite guest the app closes and it wont allow me to add new guests. I then have to login on my computer to add a new guest.

Limited options and functionality, I ended up having to use the site anyway. (Eg cant find "import photo" category.) Then when I try to open my draft in the app it crashes. I like that I can link to my phone contacts, but I wish I could send text invites to those in my contacts that dont have email addresses.

Cant edit or add new guests...the app is useless and aggravating

So many bugs. Not functional. Not user friendly.

There must be a glitch. The evite I made on my computer can not be opened in the mobile app. Frustrating and not very useful at the moment.

This app needs a lot of work. Even though I chose Canada as my country it wont let me put anything other than a state and zip code in my locations. Then I chose an invite that you were able to upload a photo to...except for the fact that there was no way to upload a photo! I went through the entire process of creating my invitation and saved the draft, since Im not ready to send it yet, only to find theres no way back to the main screen except by hitting the back, and eventually cancel, button...which somehow erased my saved draft. Great concept, poor execution.

Im guessing development on this app was abandoned? Too bad, was once such an easy way to send invites out.
