Evite: Party Invitations App Reviews

Apparently now you can change your guests rsvp status for them. This isnt helpful, and can be very confusing when youre simply trying to edit your guests email address. Speaking of which, you cant see what email you entered for guests once youve saved them to your evite contacts.

On my iPhone 6s, I cant add more guests from the app. The phone number field is empty but it wont let me add my phone # from the app. Near the edit link it says "web only"! I have been forced to use the desktop application on my computer browser to do even the simplest things like adding more guests. Kind of surprised by this, disappointed for sure!

Simply does not work, cant modify existing event and cant create new ones

I created an invitation and filled out almost all the fields. I switched over to another app to get more details so I could copy and paste them in. When I returned to Evite my entire invitation was gone. Just like they reloaded the app. Ridiculous that in 2016 an app can mess up multitasking so badly.

If you create an event on a computer there are some things that the app just doesnt have to view. Also the amount of pop ups from the app is crazy- its hard to check on your Evite or edit when its always directing you elsewhere.

Lots of issues

This app is really lacking. Its not really good for creating or editing an invitation. Its only really good for checking RSVPs.

The goals of this app to assist in preparing invitations and sending them are wonderful. However, in its present state of development, the app is frustrating to use. It is slow in function, difficult to use and error prone. The version on the iPhone and iPad are different. Please have the developers keep working on this one.

I like the evite website but the whole point of installing on my phone was to add contacts from my phone to the invitation. So what the hell is the point of showing me a list of every email in my phone with no names attached? Is there some app designer out there who thinks people have memorized the email addresses associated with our entire contact list? If so then let me help you out. WE DONT. I need my phone to connect the random strings of letters and numbers in an email address to an actual name, which the app doesnt show. Thus, this app is worthless.

okay; its not a complete disaster like it was a few versions ago. its functional. but its still extremely limited, which kind of defeats the purpose of having an app version. PLEASE improve it!

Too many errors, often cannot update, change Evite or contact guests. Too many limitations compared to the website. Youre better off just using the website to avoid the hassle.

Cant access my account. Forgot my password. Requested new one. Its been hours. Had to download different app to promote/manage my event.

After the latest update I lost the ability to comment on rsvps. Fairly easy to create invitations, although I would have appreciated the draft function being a little easier to handle. After accessing my draft a second time, the Evite got automatically sent to myself (hadnt added any guests yet, or rather, they got unchecked when I exited the Evite. ) Need some touching up before I give it 5 stars.

Glitchy (crashes) and time-wasting. You must go through screens even if you dont want to fill in the info (event TYPE?). Also randomly SENDS your invitation when you are just trying to ADD a contact, not send yet. Very embarrassing. Go to the (mediocre) web site. Even that mess is better than this junk.

This app is beautiful and great for sending invites. Have it three stars because it would be even better if the created invitation could be sent as a text and not just an email. Planning a Christmas party and some people are not big email ppl. Everyone is into texting. To be able to do all in one app instead of having to use 2-3 different apps would be AWESOME!!!!

The whole evite platform works for me, I had my birthday this past weekend and it was easy to track guests, to get an accurate head count for catering and to reach out to individuals or groups was simple. The mobile version helped me keep track of things throughout the day and not just at the end of the day when Im home and just wanna veg out. Works great, I like how the app is developing!

OMG!!! This is like the best app EVER!!! So far I have done 2 parties invitations using Evite. You can message people, send them an email or even Instagram or snapchat them an invitation! And they dont even have to have the app. But one thing I dont like about this app is that you can only add them to your guest list if you have the persons email. You can still send them an invitation but when they try to pull it up it will said "Sorry. Your not on the guest list." And it will not show u the invitation.☹️ If the person(s) who made this app sees this review... I would really like it if u would change that.

App often craches and its very annoying

Its so easy to manage events Im hosting or attending through this app.
