Lack of functionality

The Evite app lacks basic functionality; and thats being nice! How is it that facebook events is more feature rich than evite? Cant change or assign hosts? Why not? One should be able to scale an electronic invitation across various destinations/ locations and assign various hosts to manage an event. Afterall, the electronic invitation is at the core of an event; one could safely assume it provides event details and coordinates the guest list in an easy to use manner.
What lack of basic functions for a company that prides itself on leading the invitation market... An application with such promise but has yet to mature and show how its done.
